You can edit an image by either selecting an image in the Asset Manager and then clicking the 'Edit Image' button on the toolbar or by right-clicking an image in the content areas and selecting 'Edit Image...' from the image context menu.
Some of the features of the image editor are:
- Resize
- Crop
- Enhance
- Rotate
- Tilt
- Adjust Exposure
- Adjust Contrast
- Adjust Saturation
- Adjust Hue
- Adjust Sharpness
Insert Table Support
You can now insert tables into the content areas of your pages. This helps you organise your data into rows and columns. To access this feature select the 'Insert Table' option from the 'Tables' tab of the formatting toolbars.
Paste as Text
This feature will strip out
all formatting from text that is copied from another program i.e. Microsoft Word etc and paste it as plain text into a content area. To access this feature select the 'Paste as text' option from the 'Tools' tab of the formatting toolbars.
Flash Movie Support
You can now upload Adobe Flash movies and Flash Video files (FLV) and insert them into content areas using the new Insert Flash Movie feature.
You can also specify an alternative image that will be used in place of the Flash movie if Flash is not available on the users computer. To access this feature select the 'Flash Movie' option from the 'Insert' tab of the formatting toolbars.
Font Size Control
You can now change the font size for any text in content areas. Please note this feature is disabled by default to maintain design consistency but can be activated on request.
Asset File Location
The Asset Manager now displays the absolute URL of the selected asset in a status area of the Asset Manager dialog.
Hi-Res Image Warning
Church:/Advance now flags any images that are high-resolution and that are too big to be inserted into content areas with a warning icon displayed over the thumbnail image. This allows you to see at a glance which images might need optimisation before being inserting into content areas.
Also the 'Insert Image' dialog no longer allows you to insert hi-res images into content areas that have not already been optimised.
